The student of the month for Mrs. Ridgway’s class is Miss Dalila Velazquez. I couldn’t be more proud of Dalila! She comes to school ready to learn and with a positive attitude. Dalila has been the biggest help, to me and the rest of the class, with letting us know what all of our friends are trying to say. She’s very patient and kind with all of us! Dalila, also, isn’t afraid to ask for help. She tries her best to complete every task, but will ask for help when the task becomes too much. I’m very proud to her accomplishments, so far, and can’t wait to see what she can do by the end of the year!!

This young man comes to school each and everyday with a wonderful attitude. Bryson is one who never complains and buckles down to get the job done. He gives 110% on anything we present to him and enjoys the challenge of learning something new. One of his special qualities is that he is friendly and makes everyone feel special. I have not heard one negative word come out of his mouth and that is something that many children and adults can admire. Bryson is a quiet leader in our room. He leads through example and has a very, very bright future ahead. Bryson is very close to his family and enjoys playing football right now. I am sure any coach wants him on their team as well! Congratulations, Bryson on being our first student of the month.
Mrs. Meyer has selected Laban Kniesly as Student of the Month for Room 430, 6th Grade. Laban has worked hard to earn this honor. Laban is one who is often challenged in the area of organization. This year as 6th graders are switching classes, he has had to step up to the challenge of organizing himself to get the items he needs for each class, get assignments completed outside of class, and turn in assignments to the teacher. Laban does an excellent job of participating in class. He always brings new perspectives on topics of discussion in class. Keep up the great work Laban!
