 Your fifth grade class

Mrs. Robinson has selected Payton Bragg as student of the month in her 5th grade classroom.  Payton is a quiet presence in our classroom which is very much appreciated, especially this time of year. Even though Payton is quiet, the students in our room know they can count on her for help or support if it is needed. Payton works extremely hard and if something comes hard to her in math, she is determined to figure it out or ask for help - which is perfect! I can always count on Payton to do her very best academically and behaviorally. I am anxious to watch her play basketball this year because I think her wonderful mind and height will help our RS girls be successful.

Mrs. Meyer has selected Kody Ward as student of the month in Room 430. Koday does a great job of participating in class and is willing to accept tasks given to him. He uses his time wisely and has developed great organizational skills. Many times Kody will provide a new insight to share with the class. This often gives us a new perspective on the topic.

She is friendly to everyone and tries to help others make good choices in a very kind and caring manner. Another area in which she excels is her academic excellence. Brayleigh will work so hard to conquer areas that are difficult for her and is never afraid to ask questions if something is unclear. If another student asks her a question, she takes the time to explain it to them, so that they also have a better understanding of it. Any teacher who is lucky enough to have Brayleigh in class will have a true dedicated student, and I was just lucky enough to experience it for 2 times during her elementary years.
